Our lifestyle is a passion for greenery
Vivaio Principina was founded in 1978 within the Parco della Maremma, a unique setting where the mild climate throughout the year has fostered our specialisation in the cultivation of high-quality Mediterranean plants.
We pay particular attention to species that are resistant to coastal climates, such as cacti and succulents, tropical and subtropical plants, palms (both locally grown and imported), as well as selected specimens of olive trees, citrus plants and many other varieties.
Over the years, the experience we have gained and our passion for creating green spaces have led us to develop and refine our expertise in the design and construction of outdoor environments: gardens and parks, terraces, hospitality venues, as well as installations for events and exhibitions.
We are also able to manage technical and regulatory aspects, including the design of building works, in collaboration with our architectural studio.

Green soul means respect for the environment. Our nursery is located within a protected area of the Parco della Maremma. For this reason, we pay close attention to the responsible use of resources such as water and energy, and adopt environmentally sustainable methods for the use of fertilisers and pest control products.

We ensure the highest standards of plant health through rigorous and continuous phytosanitary inspections, as well as the diagnosis of diseases caused by fungi, bacteria and viruses.
